Honu Favorite Sea Creature for My Favorite Hop Post
Every Sunday, I try to participate in an event titled, My Favorite Hop. Each week our hostess Sara @sarae.furr_thecraftyfarmchick selects a 'favorite' for us to focus upon and share our interpretation of our favorites. This week on the hop, we were asked to share our favorite sea creature. Since I know of no lizards in the ocean, I chose the sea turtle or honu, as it is called in Hawaii, to showcase for you today. When we lived in Hawaii--where our son was born--we discovered that the honu is a symbol of good luck, wisdom, endurance/long life, and strong family connections. This card was crafted up with the following items from @tcwstencils : Ocean Mist, Beach Grass, & Seafoam Stencil Butters were mixed to create the #TCW847S stencil Wave background. I simply used my palette knife to grab a tiny bit of each butter from the lid and placed it upon my stencil in various spots and mixed it together.
