Alice's Story Cards and then Some!

Hello folks!

This post is a bit delayed and if you have been following my IG account (@lizzardsbf);
you have already seen all of these wonderful cards created with @thiscallsfor_confetti products !!!!

This first card shown above and below;
 was created for the Alice's Story Hop.

The Honeysuckle stamp and coordinating die set was
created by owner Lisa, in honor of her mother, Alice.
Alice passed away about a year ago, and Lisa wanted to
pay homage to her wonderful mom via this fabulously delightful
stamp and die set.

There are also coordinating dies for the Honeysuckle set.

To create this card I used the honeysuckle stamp; inked it up with clear embossing ink, stamped it onto a sheet of Bristol smooth cardstock, heat set it with white embossing powder and inked up the paper.

Distress Inks used were salvaged patina, wild honey, mustard seed, mowed lawn, lucky clover, cracked pistachio and peacock feathers.  Then I wiped the distress inks off of the flowers with a towel.

The Happy portion of the sentiment was die cut from a sheet of the TCFC Falala paper (unfortunately no longer available)
and off set with Happy word die cut from white cardstock underneath.  The die set used is the 'Happy Layering Die Set'.

 The Mother's Day portion of the sentiment was stamped in shaded lilac and then covered with clear embossing powder to give it a raised effect.

Lastly, I splattered some water onto the card, added some sequins, and splatters of paint & Viola!  A finished card.

This card shown above, was also created with the Happy Layering die set and the 'Elongated Ovals A2 cover plate die'.  Accented with the Honeysuckle sequin mix.

The coffee card also used the Elongated Ovals cover die as well as my Happy Birthday card.

You can see that the coffee paper peeking thru the
black ovals is the Daily Grind Coffee collection paper pad

I used some brown distress inks on this card, to make it look like coffee had spilled.  Additionally, I hand cut some of the paper out for coffee accents; the coffee beans and coffee mug/saucer.

The Elongated Ovals cover die has a really nice set of grooves in the ovals and it gives a wonderful texture on the card.

The flowers on this last card were embossed and die cut out & placed all over the card.

The majority of the purple flowers were embossed in a violet frantage gold embossing powder.  The flowers without gold, were clear embossed after hue on hue color stamping. I.e., yellow ink stamped onto yellow paper, then sprinkled with clear embossing powder and heat set.

I hope you enjoyed seeing how creative one may be with the different papers that This Calls For Confetti offers and how versatile their dies are.
