Valentine Treat Boxes

Hello Crafty Peeps!

Popping on by to show you some fun treat boxes I made to send to some close family friends in California.

I recently became a 'content creator' for This Calls For Confetti and in that capacity, have had the chance to use their new Love 6x6 paper pad in various ways.  So many fun papers are in this pad.

In order to create the boxes, I needed to use two sheets of paper per box. I pasted or glued the sheets together so that the patten would cover the gluing, match closely up, and not be so visible.

First, I glued the papers together and sent it thru the die machine.
Second, I scored the folds with my bone folder and applies 1/8" tape runner to put the boxes together.
Third, I accented the boxes with the following @thiscallsforconfetti mixes:

💓The Sweetest Kiss Mix
💓 Circle of Love Clayfetti
💓 Opaque Iridescent Blush Mix
💓 Opaque Iridescent Pink Mix
💓 The Bright Ones - Red Mix

Lastly, I added a lot of dark chocolates to the treat boxes and mailed them off to the CA pals!

**ALSO NOTE** that when making the boxes, figure out which way the pattern will go so that it look esthetically pleasing.

See where I am pointing the lift-n-release tool; trying to match up the seams.

If you look closely, you may see that the lips are upside down when the box is being looked at from above.

When I crafted the last three boxes, I made sure to have the writing or images be facing left to right (like when reading) when the recipient is looking down at the top of the box.

This box's paper is facing the wrong way but I covered a lot of it up with the extra paper hearts and the gems from the Sweetest Kiss mix.

On the love word bubble treat box, I made sure that the words all were properly facing the receiver.
