Today is the day, to BEWARE!

My son suggested this card idea, so thanks Ryon for the creative genius!  Here is the card:

I don't know if you can tell, but I used two different stencils on this card.  The first one is a sugar skull and I used the pink Nuvo glimmer paste and immediately cleaned off my palette knife and stencil afterwards. I set it aside to let it dry.  I noticed that a bit had gotten in a spot where I did not want the paste, so I carefully scraped it off with the end of my scissors.  (I think a craft pick or even a safety pin would work to gently remove the excess paste from where you do not want it to be.)

Once it was dry, I got my spider web stencil and used the Distress Oxide spiced marmalade to blend the web, atop the skull.  Once that was dry, I ended up trimming the skull a bit to fit onto an A2 size card.  I kept trimming it down because 1.) I had matted it and B.) I wanted the sugar skulls paper, from Whimsy Stamps, to show around the edges.  I also fussy cut out a few skulls from another coordinating paper, to use as accents atop my card.  I also die cut a few of the skulls from the graveyard die set and glued several of them together to place on the card; as well as a black cat!

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment 'Beware', in embossing ink onto some Green cardstock, and poured some clear embossing powder on top, heat set, and trimmed it a titch.  I then splattered some gold starry paint atop the sentiment and put it on my card with some art glitter glue.

Again, here is the finished card:

Thanks for popping on by to see what I have been up to, but Beware, black cats are all around! ;)
Cheers and crafty hugs my friends! LIZARD xo
